Mathews Z7 VS Hoyt Alphaburner
The Mathews Z7 and the Hoyt Alphaburner are both new bows for 2010. But which bow is the the best, not only shooting wise, but also preformance, handling, quiteness, and quickness is wat you are looking for in a new bow. So we put the two top of the line bows for 2010 in a head to head challange the Alphaburnrer versus the Z7 to see which bow is the best to have come hunting season. Before we talk about the statistics of what happend lets take a closer look at both bows and you decide which would be the best for you. The Mthews Z7 has the perfect blend of speed and accuracy with an ultra smooth draw. The Z7 comes standard with the dead end string stop, harmonic dampers, monkey tails for added quiteness, and a slim fit grip so the bow doesn't fly out of your hand when you shoot. The Mathews Z7 comes with 80 percent let off and up to 75 pound draw weight standard. The Mathews Z7 at 75 pounds is pushing 335 feet per second that's humming if your a deer hunter you will agree speed is a key factor when it comes to hunting. Now lets look at the Alphaburner. The Hoyt Alphaburner is new for 2010 and right now is the hottest selling bow in the country. The Alphaburner has it all, a speed bow that's easy to shoot, it is the perfect bow for thoes who crave speed but demand accucary. The cool thing about the Alphaburner is the limbs are the lighest weight fiberglass and dipped in a bulletproff rozen so the will not crack or break when droped. The Alphaburner only weighs 4 pounds compared to the Z7's 6.5 pounds, The Alphaburner is today the fastest production compound bow known to man it shoots 346 feet per second at 65 pounds. At 80 pounds it's pushing 365 feet per second. In my own opinion the new Alphaburner is the way to go it's the lightest, fastest, and most percision bow known to man.

How to track a deer with no blood trail
When you shoot a deer wether it be with a gun or a bow you experience alot of emotions, your adernaline rushes, your heart races, you shake uncontrollably, but even though you are experienceing these emotions your main goal as a deer hunter is to make sure you put a good clean ethical shot on your animal. Anything can happen when you let your arrow fly or when you shoot your gun if you bow hunt you need to make sure you have a good view of your targe area. An arrow doesnt have eyes it can't see were to go thats why you wait for an open shot take your time and try to realx and clam your emotions down. When you shoot you need to pay attention to your shot placement because your arrow can hit a limb a nock your arrow off target an inch or two so you have to pay attention to every detail. After yor shot it's best to give the animal about 25 to 30 min to bed up, then gentaly ease your way down to were he was standing if your bow hunting the first thing is to look for the arrow if no arrow look for blood if no blood or arrow but you know for a fact you watched the arrow make contact walk the way the ran. It's important to watch the deer run till you can't see him anymore and mark the last spot you saw him and gentally make your way toward were you last saw him looking everywere on the ground for blood and the arrow and it front of you for the deer. If after 20 to 30 yards without blood or the arrow the best thing to do is head to either a water source such as a creek, pond, spring, ect..., the second choice is head to the bedding aera. My dad took a 12 pointer this year and there was no arrow or blood but there was a water source a creek about 20 yards from were the deer was taken and a bedding area about 85 yards from were the deer was taken. Lairrie my pappaw was hunting eith my dad he said he thinks the deer ran to the creek but the deer ran the opposite way my dad went toward the bedding area and my pappaw went into the creek 20 yards into the creek laying in a spring was the majestic whitetail buck. So it goes to show you that preserverence is everything when it comes to deer hunting never give up on looking for your deer think of everywere a deer could go and go from there.
